What I find interesting is that they've taken a dynamic medium, the interactive Google Street View on the internet, and reduced it down to a familiar art of still photography.
This experiment gives another perspective at using Google Street View images as artwork. In this case, you're in control of the experience as a cameraman, framing a shot. The twist is for every image you capture, someone else can remix it. They can change the perspective, discover the context, explore the surroundings of where the image comes from. They can create a derivative piece, just like the original author creates a derivative piece from Street View's images.
